Forget the worms, the EARLY BIRDS get the seeds at Celtic Blue Rock Festival 2009 as the discounted early entry vouchers are announced. 

Be part of the great Celtic Blue Rock Experience for 2009 and ensure you are one of the beautiful people attending the 3-day festival from the 31st of July 2009 to 2nd of August 2009. The whole ethos of Celtic Blue Rock is promoting music, art & culture while highlighting environmental, horticultural and renewable energy initiatives in the local and wider community.

The festival is located in North Pembroskeshire, overlooking the Preseli Hills, the stories of the old Celtic fables “Mabinogion” have close affinity with the area and the Preseli Blue stone is believed to have mystical healing powers and were used to construct the inner circle of stones at Stonehenge. The festival stages and zones have names related to the fables and myths of ancient Wales – Taliesin, Rhiannon, Anwn, Ceridwen, Cromlech, Derwen.

To gain entry to the festival in August you need to purchase our Ceridwen Grain Voucher for £30. Ceridwen was the Celtic goddess of Grain and Inspiration she was associated with the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth and worshiped at harvest time. During the Celtic Blue Rock festival you will be asked to sow the seeds that you have purchased to symbolise our hope for a sensible approach to local and international environmental, agricultural and renewable energy challenges. We can all sow the seeds of hope.

You will immediately receive confirmation of purchase with the voucher it’s self being posted to you early July 2009. We are restricted by local authority licensing levels and hence only 8,000 beautiful seed sowing friends will be allowed on the festival site hence we will have to stop issuing vouchers when we reach this level, no one can gain entry without the grain voucher. We encourage children 12 years and under to accompany their guardians and therefore 12yrs and under need not purchase a voucher to gain access as entry will be free to young children who will have a fabulous kids earth zone play and learn in.

Vouchers purchased before the 31st December 2008 will be at a discounted price of £25. Many people have requested that they be available as ideal and unique Christmas gifts for people who wish to be part of the 2009 festival experience.
